Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund has informed about its advantages for depositors storing theirs deposits in the national currency.
ADIF reported that since 16 September the maximum annual rate on insured deposit in the national currency increased from 12% to 15%. The decision was adopted by Supervisory Board of ADIF with the approval of Azerbaijan Central Bank and Financial Markets Supervision Chamber. At that the rate on insured deposits in foreign currency remained at the level of 3%.
