{"id":23328,"date":"2023-06-20T12:15:42","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T08:15:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aba.az\/?p=23328"},"modified":"2023-06-20T12:16:41","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T08:16:41","slug":"fintex-summit-2023-finance-and-technologies-expo-was-held-in-baku","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aba.az\/en\/fintex-summit-2023-finance-and-technologies-expo-was-held-in-baku\/","title":{"rendered":"FINTEX SUMMIT 2023 &#8211; FINANCE AND TECHNOLOGIES EXPO WAS HELD in Baku"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"228bf8a64b8551e1MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">FINTEX SUMMIT 2023 &#8211; FINANCE AND TECHNOLOGIES EXPO<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0was held on June 13-14, 2023, in Baku, Azerbaijan. \u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Summit<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0was organized by Azerbaijan Banks Association\u00a0<strong>in partnership with VISA<\/strong>, and supported by Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan,\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Fintech Association with the subject of\u00a0<strong>\u201cNew Trends in Banking and Finance Ecosystem: Innovative Solutions, FinTech And Security\u201d<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"228bf8a64b8551e1MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Two day Summit brought together senior management of regulators, fintech, associations, representatives of international financial institutions, local Embassies, academician, well known companies, decisionmakers and influencers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"228bf8a64b8551e1MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Forum consisted of eight Panels<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0\u2013 \u201cNational Leader Heydar Aliyev\u2019s role in the development of the modern banking and finance ecosystem\u201d,\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"AZ-LATIN\">\u201c<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">The future: Digital Bank<\/span><span lang=\"AZ-LATIN\">\u201d, \u201cIntertwined ecosystems: Banking and technology\u201d, \u201cPayments next big bang\u201d, \u201cDigital solutions for compliance\u201d, \u201cServices by super banking apps or super fintech\u201d, \u201cCybersecurity\u201d, \u201cGood for ESG, good for the industry\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">with approximately 50 speeches and presentations.\u00a0Overall more than 1,500 participants attended the SUMM\u0130T.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"228bf8a64b8551e1MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"AZ-LATIN\">\u201c<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">In every market where Visa is present, we aim to bring together all players of the payment ecosystem &#8211; to discuss new technologies, struggles and opportunities in our industry and cashless economy development,\u201d comments Cristina Doros, Visa Vice President, Regional Manager for Central Asia and Azerbaijan. \u201cI believe FINTEX SUMMIT in Azerbaijan, which we have been supporting for several years, is one of the best platforms for all fintech players to exchange ideas and best practices.
