“Banks and Business newspaper” was founded in 1999. It was considered reasonable to create the online version and website of the newspaper taking into account the prevalence of the internet, convenience and effectiveness of online transfer and accessibility of information as result of close integration of information technologies and electronic devices to our daily life.
The vision of the online newspaper is to become a reliable information source in banking and finance, and achieve educational aims. In parallel to providing official and reliable news on banking and finance, the newspaper posts analytical articles on economy, which enables its readers to catch up on news of the banking sector and raises their awareness in this area.
In order to assist bank employees of Azerbaijan banking system to learn theoretic knowledge in exchange of experience, international banking section of the online newspaper posts information on innovations of foreign banks systems and gives space to the analytical writings of international experts.
