The “FINTEX SUMMIT 2024 – FINANCE AND TECHNOLOGIES EXPO” organized by the Azerbaijan Banks Association was held.
FINTEX SUMMIT 2024 – FINANCE AND TECHNOLOGIES EXPO was held on May 15-16, 2024, in Baku, Azerbaijan. Summit was organized by Azerbaijan Banks Association in partnership with VISA, and supported by Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Financial Monitoring Service, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan Fintech Association with the subject of “New Trends in Banking and Finance Ecosystem: Innovative Solutions, FinTech And Security”.
Two day Summit brought together senior management of regulators, fintech, associations, representatives of international financial institutions, local Embassies, academician, well known companies, decisionmakers and influencers.
The event featured 56 partners and 270 participating companies and welcomed approximately 1,500 local and international participants over two days. Simultaneously, 48 speakers from various countries delivered speeches and presentations on the dynamic developments in banking, finance, fintech, and technology across 9 panels.

Nurlan Hajiyev, Visa Senior Director and the traditional Global Sponsor of the Summit, also serving as the regional manager for Azerbaijan, shared his thoughts about this event organized by ABA:
